Akamkpa Local Government Area Prepares for Security and Peace Advocacy Tour
In an effort to enhance security and peace across communities, the Security and Peace Advocacy Tour will be making a significant stop in Akamkpa Local Government Area on Monday, October 23, 2023. This event provides a vital platform for residents to express their thoughts, concerns, and recommendations regarding security and peace-related issues NEGROIDHAVEN can report.
It is noteworthy to recall that on Monday, September 25, 2023, the Office of the Security Adviser – South, representing the Cross River State Government, organized an enlightening Security and Peace Advocacy Tour. The tour took place in Bakassi, an area grappling with distinct security challenges. The primary objective was to promote mutual understanding and peace between the local community and the state government.
Commander (Rtd.) Patrick Odiong reiterated his firm commitment to enhancing security and peace within the South Senatorial District. The forthcoming tour aims to create a platform for community members to engage with government representatives and security agencies. Through this engagement, the focus will be on addressing their concerns and collaboratively working toward sustainable peace and security.
